– It is by far the smoothest we've ever introduced. Netwic has made my job so much easier and best of all is that it works on all conditions. Both employers and employees benefit greatly from the tool, says Jonas Blom, production manager at Nordic Aero in Stockholm.
Nordic Aero is a service company specializing in the aerospace industry. The company operates in the Nordic countries and within the group Aviator with more than 2,000 employees.
– With Netwic we know where our employees can and want to work. Previously, it sometimes required 20 calls to fill two gaps in the schedule, now I can fix it with a few clicks, explains Jonas Blom.
The introduction was made in early autumn. A couple of meetings were followed by information to all employees and managers with staffing responsibilities.
– Everyone thought it was great. It was an employee who told us about Netwic and I must say that we have never been in an easier start.
The staffing issues that used to take both time and energy of the production leaders currently manage easily and quickly using Netwic.
– We have saved so much time. The time we used previously to search people by phone, we will now spend focusing on our customers. Before, there was sometimes a stress that hung over us, but it has disappeared, says Jonas Blom.

Viking Line joins Netwic and we welcome all managers and co-workers to the tool. Viking Line has seven vessels, which sail between the Finnish mainland, Åland and Sweden as well as between Finland and the Baltic states. Operations include passenger services, recreation and cargo carrier services.

We welcome all employees at the IKEA store in Delft, Holland to Netwic.
When launching Netwic in Holland, the tool was translated into Dutch.
- When we get the opportunity to expand into new countries, we always have a discussion about language and expression, but also on other cultural differences between different markets. If changes need to be made to the tool, then we try to solve it as quick as possible, explains Stefan Tiensuu on Netwic.

Ronny Hedström currently works at the IKEA store in Gävle, Sweden. He was the one who introduced his HR-manager to Netwic and since then the tool is a natural part of everyday life for employees and managers at IKEA in Gävle.
– I had worked with Netwic with my former employer in Sundsvall and thought it worked just fine, so it seemed natural to pass it on when I got a new job here in Gävle, says Ronny Hedström, Shopkeeper in the Market hall in Gävle.
The launch of Netwic was made during an afternoon where all the managers got a one-hour review of the tool's features. The introduction, together with a letter sent out to all employees, was enough to reach out with the right message and achieve sufficient understanding among both managers and employees.
– Everyone took it very positively. We ran a little workshop and they all had the opportunity to ask questions, and then we were up and running, explains Ronny Hedström.
IKEA in Gävle has over 200 employees and recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. More than 20 managers with staffing responsibilities are now working to finalize the new timetable which comes into force in September.
– It is really busy right now. We are also working with recruitment for the summer. Then there is the daily manning, says Ronny Hedström.
Netwic has created space for new tasks.
– Netwic saves a tremendous amount of time. With the new update, where confirmations are sent out by text message, we save even more time. We use Netwic for emergency vacancies, but also for some of our long-term planning and it works just great, says Ronny Hedström.

– Each employee is hugely important in the production. We need the right personnel in place, otherwise we are forced to shut down production, it is that simple, explains Jennika Levin, staff consultant for REC Scan Cell in Norway.
The production of solar cells take place in Narvik. The products are then sold on to customers in the REC and the external module producers. The competence of the more than 240 employees is broad, the average age is low and interest in technology is high. Since september 2010, the company uses Netwic to streamline staffing and communicate with their employees.
– Before we introduced Netwic, our production managers often spent a couple of hours each day to fill vacant shifts and finding the right co-worker. The work hung over the managers all the time. With Netwic in the organization it's about 15 minutes, if it is really bad. Usually we solve it in minutes, says Jennika Levin.
Production managers and the company's HR department took the decision. Phone lists, handwritten notes and rows of loaded telephone messages to employees is now a distant memory.
–The implementation went very quickly. It's no big deal. Production managers took a look at the tool and then we launched Netwic to all employees by sending out a short letter. That's it, says Jennika.
Netwic has also influenced her own work as a personnel consultant.
– The tool has stimulated our communication and today we can easily provide information to our employees. We often use the News page in Netwic and the ability to communicate to a particular practice group within our company.
