– I had worked with Netwic with my former employer in Sundsvall and thought it worked just fine, so it seemed natural to pass it on when I got a new job here in Gävle, says Ronny Hedström, Shopkeeper in the Market hall in Gävle.
The launch of Netwic was made during an afternoon where all the managers got a one-hour review of the tool's features. The introduction, together with a letter sent out to all employees, was enough to reach out with the right message and achieve sufficient understanding among both managers and employees.
– Everyone took it very positively. We ran a little workshop and they all had the opportunity to ask questions, and then we were up and running, explains Ronny Hedström.
IKEA in Gävle has over 200 employees and recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. More than 20 managers with staffing responsibilities are now working to finalize the new timetable which comes into force in September.
– It is really busy right now. We are also working with recruitment for the summer. Then there is the daily manning, says Ronny Hedström.
Netwic has created space for new tasks.
– Netwic saves a tremendous amount of time. With the new update, where confirmations are sent out by text message, we save even more time. We use Netwic for emergency vacancies, but also for some of our long-term planning and it works just great, says Ronny Hedström.
